Medical coding and billing II will identify action checklists, reference resources, and strategic implementation issues health information management professionals need to meet process requirements of the ICD-9-CM and CPT 4 coding. This class is designed to advance the coding student’s knowledge of the format, conventions and current coding practices for the ICD-9-CM. Review exercises will allow coders to practice their coding skills on examples that closely resemble actual patient records.
Admission Requirements
Enrollment will not be complete until the following requirements have been met:
1. An application for enrollment form must be completed.
2. A non-refundable $50.00 registration fee must accompany the application.
3. Applicants need to be at least 16 years old.
4. If the payment schedule option is chosen, the first payment must be paid before beginning the course.
Tuition and Fees
There is a $50.00 non-refundable, non-transferrable registration fee for the insurance billing and coding course. Tuition is $900. The following payment schedule is available to students if desired: $300 due by the first day of class. $300 due before beginning the fifth week of class. $300 due before beginning the ninth week of class.
