The dental field is full of new and exciting technology! This 264 hour course (200 hrs classroom/lab 64 hrs externship) prepares students to perform chair side assistance to the dentist using four handed dentistry technique. Students are oriented to the dental auxiliary, the dental patient and trained in dental ethics, anatomy & physiology of the head, neck, mouth & teeth, radiography, dental lab equipment, and preventative & restorative dentistry. Upon completion of this course, the student will be prepared for an entry level position as a clinical dental assistant.
