The dental field is full of new and exciting technology! This 280 hour course (200 hrs classroom/lab 80 hrs externship) prepares students to perform chair side assistance to the dentist using four handed dentistry technique. Students are oriented to the dental auxiliary, the dental patient and trained in dental ethics, anatomy & physiology of the head, neck, mouth & teeth, radiography, dental lab equipment, and preventative & restorative dentistry. Upon completion of this course, the student will be prepared for an entry level position as a clinical dental assistant.

Admission Requirements

Enrollment will not be complete until the following requirements have been met:

   1. An application for enrollment form must be completed.
   2. A non-refundable $50 registration fee must accompany the application (the fee will be returned if the application is denied.).
   3. Applicants need to be at least 17 years old.
   4. If the payment schedule option is chosen, the first payment must be paid by the beginning of the course.

Tuition and Fees

There is a $50. non-refundable, non-transferrable registration fee for the Clinical Dental Assistant course. Tuition is $1,949. The following payment schedule is available to students if desired: $1,000 due by the first day of class; $949 due before beginning the 7th week of class. Tuition is accrued on a pro-rated basis (see Refund Policy below.). Students will be required to wear a school uniform for lab and at the externship sites. Uniform stores charge approximately $30.
