This 76 hour Patient Care Assistant/Clinic Technician course prepares the Certified Nursing Assistant to assist doctors and nurses in providing patient care in doctor's offices, diagnostic clinics, and hospitals. Students will learn to assist with wound care, O2 needs, enteral nutrition, venipuncture testing specimens, electrocardiogram, and other skills. Assistant personnel have many different titles including, but not limited to, clinic technician and patient care assistant.
