This 67 hour Phlebotomy Technician course prepares the student to obtain blood specimens for laboratory testing. There are several methods used to obtain blood, therefore phlebotomy has expanded rapidly and with it the role of the phlebotomist. These changes have resulted in the need for structured phlebotomy training programs. Graduates will be prepared for an entry level position as a phlebotomist. This program is fast paced and includes approximately 20 hours of self structured study.
