The Limited Licensed Radiologic Technologist is a 120 hour course for students wishing to work under the supervision of a physician or licensed technologist. Students will learn how to operate medical equipment that emits ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes on human begins that are limited to specific body parts. The focus of this course will be to assist the student in preparing for a Limited Licensed Radiographer exam administered by the Arkansas Department of Health Radiological Technician Licensure Program.
Admission Requirements
Enrollment will not be complete until the following requirements have been met:
1. An application for enrollment form must be completed.
2. A non-refundable $50.00 registration fee must accompany the application.
3. Applicants need to be at least 18 years old and must be a high school graduate.
4. If the payment schedule option is chosen, the first payment must be paid before beginning the course.
Tuition and Fees
There is a $50.00 non-refundable, non-transferrable registration fee for the Limited Licensed Radiologic Technologist course. Tuition is $800. The following payment schedule is available to students if desired: $400 due by the first day of class. $400 due before beginning the fifth week of class.
